Description
Cleveland Zipcore XL Custom Irons
A great-looking set packed with performance? That’s what makes the new ZipCore XL Irons some of our most exciting yet. Distance-focused, forgiving long Irons pair with precise short Irons so you get power where you need it and control where you want it, all from a single set.
GO FAR, GET CLOSE
Go big and get it close? Yes, please. With all-new ZipCore XL Irons, you get both. AI-designed MainFrame faces and weighting, along with our legendary ZipCore technology, combine to deliver all of the power, control, and confidence you need to hit it far and stick it close without fail. Oh, and did we mention they look darn good while doing it? Sheesh! Just look at those things.
TECHNOLOGY
MAINFRAME
Designed with the help of AI, MainFrame uses a variable network of grooves, channels, and cavities milled into the backside of the club face on ZipCore XL’s 4i–7i. This pattern helps maximize flex at impact for better COR. MainFrame also uses weight pads to position mass low and deep, boosting MOl and optimizing the Center of Gravity for more forgiveness.
ZIPCORE
In 8i–SW lofts, ZipCore replaces heavy steel in the hosel and heel with an extremely lightweight yet strong, vibration dampening material. This sets the Center of Gravity right where you strike the ball, giving you more consistent launch, spin, and distance. Coupled with our XL Head Design, ZipCore delivers an abundance of high/low and heel/toe MOl for increased forgiveness, feel, and control.
XL HEAD DESIGN
Our XL Head Design features a large, cavity back profile with enhanced shaping and weighting throughout the entire lineup. Thanks to the additional weight savings from ZipCore and MainFrame, we reallocated this weight to the perimeter of the clubhead, upping the MOl for incredible forgiveness.
HYDRAZIP
ZipCore XL Irons feature HydraZip, along with loft-specific grooves, to balance spin performance on every club throughout the lineup.
In 4i–7i lofts, HydraZip uses a rougher face blast, with wider, flatter grooves, to help reduce unwanted spin that can eat away at your carry distances. Then, 8i–SW lofts receive a slightly smoother blast, but with thinner, deeper grooves to boost spin on approach. Wedge lofts also receive laser milling for superb short-game control and better performance in wet conditions.
V-SHAPED SOLE
With an elevated leading edge, our V-Shaped Sole helps these Irons glide through the turf without dragging like a typical flat sole would, which helps you maintain all that power you generated throughout your swing. A lower trailing edge on the back end still preserves some workability for shaping shots.
ACTION MASS CB
Action Mass CB places an 8-gram counterweight in the end of the shaft near the very top of your grip. The feel of added weight in your hands helps the club seem lighter, promoting a more stable, controlled backswing. It also helps promote a more inside swing path, squarer club face through impact, and, ultimately, straighter shots.

KBS C-TAPERis designed for players requiring a low piercing trajectory and superior shot control. It maximises energy transfer, for a crisp feel, while optimising shaft diameters in the taper and tip areas for low trajectory and spin control.
KBS C-TAPER LITEFeaturing a constant taper design and proportionate increase in wall thickness. It optimizes energy transfer for maximum distance.
KBS S TAPER CHROME (EXOTIC)featuring a 360 degree cured decal for lasting durability. Shares the same bend profile as the KBS Tour shafts only with elongated step patterns to control spin, generating stable performance throughout the swing.
KBS MAX is designed for players looking for maximum steel like play-ability, shot control and performance in a graphite shaft, developed from optimized weight and stiffness.
KBS TGI is designed for players looking for maximum steel like play-ability, shot control and performance in a graphite shaft, developed from optimized weight and stiffness.
KBS TOURprogressive weight steel shafts are engineered with ‘moment of inertia’ analysis to increase stability. With a mid/high flex point, these shafts generate a penetrating ball flight and low to mid spin. The higher balance point produces lower swing weights.
KBS TOUR 90is designed for players seeking higher trajectory, additional spin, and maximum distance. It is 20 % lighter than standard shafts which ultimately assists in increasing swing and balt speeds.
KBS TOUR 105a slightly lighter weight shaft, all while providing precision distance and control in a shaft that players have grown accustomed to with the KBS Golf Shafts..
KBS TOUR FLT (EXOTIC)shafts maximize energy transfer for increased shot control. Offer a smooth, responsive feel and are the preferred model by many of the best golfers in the world.
KBS Tour Liteis designed for players seeking tight dispersion, higher trajectory, additional spin, precision control and maximum distance. Combines unique KBS technology with modern lightweight materials to produce maximum energy transfer while maintaining precise shot control.
KBS TOUR V (EXOTIC)is a lightweight product that features larger outer diameters, resulting in a stable tip section and tight shot dispersion. For players that prefer a lighter weight shaft and less ball spin, the KBS TOUR-V is the ideal shaft option.
